I have been down with the sickness all weekend. Not a bad way to spend a rainy long weekend, though, knitting and snuggling on the couch with kitties and a Phleep. Finished two projects.
The KIPday thing on Saturday was muted. Jezze, her mom and I went through early and sat knitting and drinking coffee till two older ladies arrived (via ads in the newspaper). We left them there, they seemed to be ok. The point of KIPday is that it's a self-running event, people just go somewhere public and knit, no organisers needed. I was somewhat irritated with the number of calls I got asking about craft stalls. If it was a craft market, I probably would've mentioned that in the advert. Hopefully next year will be better and less irritating. I was meaning to go back later in the day to see if more people had arrived, but I fled my niece's party early to go home and sleep and woke up just in time to go have dinner at extemp's. Mmmmm, hot toddy ftw.
